A new initiative by Karantaka Forest Department in the town opened for the public is “ಸಾಲು ಮರದ ತಿಮ್ಮಕ್ಕ ವೃಕ್ಷ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನ”. A Tree Park which is 2 KM from the town, which is added a new tourist point for the people of the town and around.
