Ankola lies on the coast of the Arabian SeaThe place is much known for the clean beaches. These beaches are very few visitors and less crowd. The beaches are near by place and easy to reach as well. 

The few beaches are  Belekeri Beach, Nadibag Beach, Belambar Beach, Shedikulli Beach, Gabitkeni Beach, Honey Beach, and Keni Beach.

Nadibhag or Honnegudi Beach
A small river Nadibhag reaches the bay with roaring waves and a sway of cool wind along with the canoe moving in and out in the midst of the east Sun along with rest for the travelers in the form of gigantic rocks is the attraction of the place. Nadibhag Beach is named because of all these specialties. August to March is comfortable to the visitors.

Belekeri Beach
Belekeri is a village and is known for its fish. It is approximately 6 km from Ankola. Historically, the port was used by the British. The village has ancient historical significance as it houses an inscription which is more than 500 years old. It has Jainabeera temple, which is of a great significance to the villagers. The village is known for fishing. The sunsets are pleasing to the eyes. The place also has hills around.

The port was used for some time to export iron ore to neighboring country China. Then it got famous for the wrong activities.

Honnebail or Honey Beach
The place is rarely crowded and hence is perfect for relaxing in the calm surrounding. The blue sea is all that is visible to our eyes which makes the view just amazing. The beach is covered with a variety of huge trees. An annual mela called Bandihabba is celebrated in the month of May. 

The private beach resort at the edge of the hill is one of the attraction.

Keni Beach
Keni Beach at Ankola is one of the unexplored beaches on western coast in India.

Basakal Gudda
The Nandi Point at Basakal Gudda is an edge of the hillock from where one can watch the beautiful sea and the alluring beach. The place is rarely crowded and hence is perfect for relaxing in the calm surrounding. A small natural cave in which there is an outlet of the shape of cow’s face and water oozes from it. On way to Nadibagh, this place is located.

Manjguni Beach

Manjguni beach or Gangavaali Beach is situated few 8 kms from ankola town. This is the place where Gangavali river meets to Arabian sea. Gokarna is 10 Kms from Manjguni beach.

Belambar Beach
